India Talk Radio a Unique Project
India Talk Radio is a distinctive platform that gives a voice to
the disabled community. Launched in 2024, it is operated by
visually impaired RJs and team members under the 'India Talk
Empowerment Trust.' As the only radio station run by disabled
individuals, it has been offering a diverse range of shows for
over nine years.
India Talk Radio encourages and empowers disabled individuals to
share their stories, experiences, and perspectives. It provides
a space for them to learn about their rights and access
resources while raising awareness among the general public about
government policies, rights, and schemes that benefit the
disabled community.
The station is supported by a dedicated team of volunteers and
experts who are always ready to assist listeners. India Talk
Radio also regularly engages with its audience through shows,
games, and quizzes, offering opportunities for participation,
prizes, and recognition.
With a diverse team that understands the aspirations and needs
of its listeners, India Talk Radio reaches over 115 countries
and attracts a monthly listener count of between 35,000 and
40,000. The station operates 24/7.
